Reliable Van & Storage: Green Environment Today, Tomorrow, Forever
We are proud of our commitment to being Green and sensitive to our environment.
We have purchased two industrial recycling machines. One is a compactor and the other a baler. Upon completion of household or commercial moves, all debris is brought back to our warehouse where it is separated into recyclable categories. The compactor crushes the items and then the baler takes over making neat bales that are trucked away by recyclers. New cartons used on a move that remain in good condition are offered to customers at no charge encouraging the multiply use of these items. Instead of disposable, non-biodegradable tape, we utilize industrial strength reusable rubber bands to wrap blankets around furniture.
We are nearly a paperless office and we recycle all office papers. All paper supplies are from recycled sources. All of our lighting has been retro fitted with high efficiency lamps reducing our electric consumption by 50%. Read more.
We perform all our own maintenance of our fleet and dispose of oils et al in accordance with Federal and local laws. Our GPS monitoring systems insures that drivers do not idle the trucks and we look forward to converting to Bio Fuels.
